How can we as Americans be effectively represented if our representatives are not living in similar conditions as we are.
This would also motivate representatives to increase the standard of living in their districts, as they would be directly effected.
How can the best choices be made for an average American when those making the decisions are not "average" Americans.
This would also influence legislature to help those in need. As congressmen would have to cope with health care costs, insurances, etc...
