Reduce salary, pensions and entitlements of Congress members for the next 10 years.

Created by J.L. on December 03, 2012

Reduction in Federal Spending should begin with cutting the salary of all members of Congress by reducing their annual salary to $75,000 to $85,000.00 per year for the next ten years. 2) Reduce pensions of all federal congress members by 35% over the next ten - fifteen years. 3) Re-evaluate the health care benefits of Congress and increase their contribution to their own health insurance. 4) Reduce and evaluate all entitlements paid out of federal funds to all members of Congress. 5) Have the people vote on this reduction on the next national ballot. If we need to reduce federal spending - sacrifices begin at home. Congress past and present is responsible for the extensive federal spending - Congress needs to take responsibility for the deficit.
