Reduce spending and save Social Security.

To reduce the retirement benefits afforded to Congress and give them a private 401K and qualify them for Social Security. This will help to decrease spending. It will also make Congress accountable to the people they serve by making their retirement equivalent to those of the districts/states that they serve. The additional social security taxes paid by congress will help to support the system. No one else can retire after five years and collect a full salary for life. Neither should those who represent us.
