People with student loans know it's tough to get ahead when interest rates continue to rise on federal and private loans. Also, when a loan is on deferment or forbearance status the interest continues to accrue while you are unable to make payments for an extended period of time. I am asking you to sign this petition to have the government look into this matter and help relieve some of this burden that not only affects the student, but the economy as well.
