Reduce the tax on Gasoline and Diesel fuels to help stimulate the economy.

Created by R.P. on November 03, 2011

Reduce the tax on gasoline and Diesel fuels for the purpose of stimulating the economy. Reducing the cost of fuel will reduce the associated cost of goods to the market. Americans will be able to buy more food and non-perishable items, travel longer distances for work, afford the transportation cost of vacations along with other benefits. By implementing tax reductions on a federal level and regulating the amount of tax a state levy on energy we can stimulate the economy on a variety of levels. To make up the lost revenue from a repeal of the "gas" tax, we would increase the tariff on imported non-perishable goods from China, Mexico, India, and Indonesia by 3 percent.
