A financial incentive for employers who allow for routine telecommute schedules for employees will decrease the amount of traffic and transportation needs, thus leading to less stress and strain on public infrastructure. The overall effect increasing the telecommute workforce as a whole through a federal government financial incentive would lead to energy savings, less road construction needs, and technology improvements in business and residential areas.
