Reduce traffic by offer payroll tax credit to all employers who allow for routine telecommute per eligible employee.

Created by B.F. on November 19, 2015

A financial incentive for employers who allow for routine telecommute schedules for employees will decrease the amount of traffic and transportation needs, thus leading to less stress and strain on public infrastructure. The overall effect increasing the telecommute workforce as a whole through a federal government financial incentive would lead to energy savings, less road construction needs, and technology improvements in business and residential areas. These savings would essentially pay for the program and greatly improve quality of life. Everybody wins and it costs nothing.

Employer X allows for 100 employees to telecommute 1 day a week. The federal government will give a payroll tax credit of $500 per employee. If employer allows for 2 days a week, the tax credit goes up to $600?
