US citizens our providing an estimated $50 billion to foreign aid. The US is the world's top donor in providing foreign aid. How effective is this foreign aid remains up for debate. The link below provides what countries and amount of US tax dollars are provided:

With the state of the US economy and our Congress trying to shave money away from education, infrastructure, programs millions of citizens pay into from every pay check (social security and medicare), etc...
It is time to reduce the amount of foreign aid being sent to other countries at the expense of US tax payers.
