It takes a very long time,on an average about 10 years, to get the PR status for employment based immigration petitions.Thousands of dollars are spent on the annual renewals of EADs and Advance Paroles and we have to pay "out of state" fees for our children attending college and the children bear the burden of huge student loans.
We, the employment based applicant community come to USA to make a positive contribution to every facet of the US life.We don't ask for and don't get concessions of any type from either the State or the Federal government.
We want to be a part of the American community and participate in activities that help all communities.
It's high time that we are are allowed to apply for US Citizenship after completing 2 or 3 years after becoming PRs.
