Currently it cost $595 to start the naturalization process plus 85 dollar for biometric. Cost has nearly double since 2005. Naturalization fees were $60 in 1989; $90 in 1991; $95 in 1994; $225 in 1999; $260 in 2002; $320 in 2003; $330 in 2005. Even military spouse have to pay. Permanent Resident pay taxes, work odds jobs and an important part of the community. I merely ask that cost is reduce for those so deserving and under the quotation "All men are created equal" by Thomas Jefferson who first used the phrase in the Declaration of Independence.
