US Citizens and voters would like to pass a bill that mandates ALL legislators, state and federal, are reduced to an hourly wage, plus benefits (such as what regular citizens receive.} They will only get paid for the hours worked at their job. They no longer draw pay once they are "fired" or not holding an office position. They can only receive medicare and social security when they have held their position for the adequate "retirement" timeframe (eg. for 20+ years). The LIFETIME pay+benefits will cease immediately (for all sitting and future legislators).
All legislators + the POTUS should be mandated to read and re-read the US CONSTITUTION and acknowledge publicly that they have read and understood it.
