Violence has and will always be apart of human nature, thus it is not a question of stopping the violence, but to control and direct the flow of violence into an acceptable forum.

Simply put turf wars, gangs, don't have to be fought by driveby shooting, but insteady Dueling can even be encouraged by mutlimedia to promote more "favorable conditions" to enter into dueling then to engage in street violence.
