The traumatizing shooting that occurred on December 14, 2012 at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Connecticut will be etched in our memories till the end of our life.
Twenty first-grade children were shot and killed in cold blood. According to the medical examiner all victims were shot multiple times with the same "long weapon".

We the common man should fight to have the Federal Assault Weapons Ban reenacted and put into federal law. This ban was put into law on September 13, 1994 and expired September 13, 2004.
The only way that mad mass shootings like the one mentioned above will reduce is, if there is a federal law against “ASSAULT WEAPONS”.
