Wolves were successfully reintroduced in many States, using science funded by tax money. Ranchers and "trophy" hunters are currently getting their way and slaughtering wolves. The numbers of wolves are very low, it is the refusal to use non lethal coexistence methods that is being honored, rather than allowing this vital apex predator to play its' role in the natural world. Keep the wolves protected under the endangered species act and enhance ways to coexist with them.
