Reestablish Thanksgiving as a Federal holiday and ask that stores close so employees may spend time with their families.

Too many stores are opening early for Black Friday holiday shopping, so many employees are required to work and unable to spend the evening with their families. Thanksgiving used to be a holiday to give thanks for what you have and spend time with loved ones. Now it's just become part of the holiday shopping craze. Few businesses are willing to give their employees the day off and now expect them to work Thursday evening as well as long hours on Friday. Please reestablish the federal holiday so that hardworking employees can enjoy a well-deserved day off.
