Bruce Reed, on behalf of President Obama, issued a response to 33 WhiteHouse.gov petitions concerning gun violence. We the people find this response to be inadequate.
This response did not adequately address many of the petitions it claims to address. Petitions against new gun control laws are addressed by a statement that more gun control laws are to be considered.
Statements are made in the response that are not substantiated with any supportable data, or source reference. Also, Bruce Reed worked on the original AWB, which makes his impartiality on this matter questionable.
Because this response is targeted at 33 petitions, the response is extremely vague, and does not respond in any depth on any of the petition. A seperate response is requred for each aspect of this issue.
