Reevaluate and rewrite the legal definition of a felony.

For years a felony is a name given to a person who committed a heinous crime or serve a year or more in a state or federal facility. For many years laws have been written to make what was a subordinate crime has evolved to a felony.
Too many people are labled as Felons that never committed a heinous crime but just meeting the year imprisonment requirement for felony charges.
Never using threats, any firearm, or being a personal crime. The criminal loses the right to vote, to protect his/her family, to have a government job and other rights. Not all can be restored giving life punishment for a subordinate crime.
The definition of Felony should be more specific and restrictive on what classifies to be felony. So consequences for crimes will be fair to both those convicted and victims.
