reevaluate the misogynistic nature of dress codes. Women should not be considered distractions or shamed for dress.

Created by E.H. on December 12, 2014

Schools around the country wrongly enforce dress codes that specifically target women. Women are not distractions and should not be treated as such. It is more distracting to pull a girl out of class for her outfit than her outfit itself. It also detracts from their education; they are pulled out of class and away from instruction. Rather than shaming women and acting like they are the problem, perhaps schools should begin teaching boys to respect women at a young age. Stop enabling men.
