Reevaluate the Usage of only Masculine Pronouns in the Declaration of Independence.

Created by P.S. on September 29, 2015

The Declaration of Independence, though allegedly addressed to all, only uses masculine pronouns, when referring to the leader of the United States. This is a modern society, which supposedly embraces equality of the sexes; however, it is evident that inequality still exists, and is even present in nationally emblematic documents. In order to completely instill equality into our nation, there are some pertinent edits that must be implemented. Otherwise, how can we begin to call ourselves an egalitarian, feminist society?
