Reexamine legislation on equal pay for women

Created by M.Z. on January 25, 2013

We petition the Obama Administration to call on Congress and reexamine the Paycheck Fairness Act, a bill advocating that for the same job, women should have wages equal to men. The bill states that a woman’s pay must be based on the education and experience that they have- not because of their sex. Women are paid much less than their male counterparts. The Obama Administration states that, “women earn only 77 cents for every dollar that a man earns.” It is fallacy to think that male providers dominate our country because families are relying more and more on female wages. Starving females of equal pay affects them and their families, and should be crime. We sign for the Paycheck Fairness Act to be revisited, to ensure that every family, male or female supported, has food on their tables.
