We should not refer to the so-called 'Islamic State' as such but universally refer to them by a different name.
I believe that the media, all politicians, the U.K. & U.S. governments as well as the UN should refer to them by another name (yet to be decided).
This is a way that ordinary people power can fight an ideology which radicalises and threatens our way of life. This will have a powerful effect to disarm and dis-empower evil.
The name chosen by this group glorifies and lends legitimacy to their actions which have no respect for humanity. Referring to them by another name will dis-empower their glorification.
