Jammu And Kashmir is an Illegally occupied land. People of J&K demand implementation of UN Resolution 47 and a peaceful resolution of the dispute. The UNSC Resolution of 21 April 1948--one of the principal UN resolutions on Kashmir—stated that “both India and Pakistan desire that the question of the accession of Jammu and Kashmir to India or Pakistan should be decided through the democratic method of a free and impartial plebiscite”.
According to Hon. Edolphus Towns of the American House of Representatives, around 90,000 Kashmiri Muslims have been killed by the Indian government since 1988.
The people of Jammu and Kashmir have long been deprived of basic civil rights and the recent surge of violence and use of Pallet guns , resulting in complete or semi blinding of innocent people.
