Referendum vote by the public to change Senator and Congressional pay.

Created by J.C. on January 11, 2012

Bring a referendum vote by the public to reduce the pay of the senators and congressman to the national average income and remove their ability to change or increase their pay..congress n senators pay would only go up only if and when the national average per capita income went up..they also have to pay into ss and medicare and get the national insurance program available to them based on their pay....and their pay check stops when they leave office. Their staff should be reduced to a bare minimum of 1 secretary, 1 assistant, and 1researcher. Any additional help they receive is to be paid out of their pockets or done by volunteers. Their salary is to be deducted for one days pay for every vote they miss period. They claim public service it is time that is what we get from them.
