Refocus the nation: Lead us into a new space era in thirty years that is capable of avoiding extinction.

We are very lucky to be alive as a species, not alone a human one; however, luck does eventually run out. To insure our survival we must refocus the nations attention and effort towards a more urgent goal that if continued to be ignored or take lightly ends in our extinction. We must develop the sociology, sciences and technologies required to remove our need of earth resources and establish a permanent and mobile presence in space. Lead us into this new era of productivity and bring America together in pride and hope of building a more certain future. We must be prepared. We must start now. We must get it right; for, there are no do overs after extinction. Let this be your legacy Mr. President. We must become the change that changes the world; or, it will change us. Take us to the stars.
