People have for years from the Nazi march on Skokie, to the Westboro Baptist Church, to people standing on a street corner shouting offensive statements at people, attacking their beliefs, and preventing them to live through "life, liberty, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS." Why should people be allowed to use the first amendment as a shield for their hate, and degrading statements? We were founded for years on the right to free speech, but now the world has changed, you should always have the right to say what you believe, but when it infringes on the life and civil liberties of others it should NOT be allowed to be used as a way to avoid prosecution.
