Reform all governmental data gathering which currently violates the 4th amendment to the Constitution

Created by B.F. on June 18, 2013

Current NSA data collection of all call records within the US is an unreasonable search, without warrant and does not establish probable cause for the vast majority of information collected.

This violates the 4th amendment which states, "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Broad data collection that is without warrant or probable cause should immediately be stopped. Data collection should be reformed to ensure that the rights granted in the 4th amendment are protected.
