There's too much corruption in the adoption industry. It's time for reform at the Federal level. The adoption industry is less regulated than the real estate industry. We demand the following changes at the Federal Level:
1) Unseal all original birth certificates for those 18+. An original birth certificate is not sealed until the adoption is finalized, so if a child grows up in foster care he has his original birth certificate making privacy null and void. It's never been about privacy.
2) Legalize all open adoptions. 85% of open adoptions close because no state has them legalized.
3) Do not allow pregnant women to sign adoption papers before giving birth.
4) Abolish closed adoptions. Closed adoptees are far more likely to suffer mental illness.
5) Investigate Utah's seedy adoption laws
