Reform the Budget Process: Every year Congress and the President fail to pass a budget each member receives a 5% paycut.

Created by N.L. on November 14, 2012

The President, Senators and Representatives are elected to represent the people of this great nation. The national debt is a threat to our future. The budget process is designed to manage the business of government not be a pawn in a blame war. Every member of Congress and the President are responsible for the failure of passing a budget in the past 3.5 years. The fiscal cliff was created by their failure to represent the people of the United States of America.

Since failing to pass a budget is failing to do the job you were elected to do. The President and every member of the House and the Senate should receive a permanent 5% paycut each year they fail to complete this basic task they were elected to do. This still allows each party to represent their political positions.
