Reform campaign finance and remove the right of corporations to contribute unlimited funds.

It is the belief of the American people that campaign finance is one of the most corrupt and corrosive elements of Washington's broken political system. A February 2010 Washington Post - ABC research poll showed that 80% of Americans want Congress to reinstate limits on corporate campaign contributions. As the President, we understand that your power to directly oppose a Supreme Court ruling is limited, but we ask that you use your role as a political leader to support a Constitutional Amendment to overturn the ruling of Citizens United v. FEC(No. 08-205). We have already begun to see the effects of unlimited corporate campaign contributions and we do not approve. Elections should remain in the hands of the constituency, not in the hands of outsiders. Do not compromise on our Democracy!
