Reform campaign finance by having politicians fund their own positions.

Created by N.M. on November 13, 2012

Campaigns for federal office shall be allowed to spend up to the amount of the yearly salary of the office being sought, on campaign advertisement in any form. When the amount of the yearly salary has been reached, for each expenditure towards campaign advertisement (in any media), a matching amount must be placed in trust to fund the salary of the office they are running for. When the office is fully funded for the term being run for, candidates may resume spending 100% of funds for advertisement.
