What I would like to see would be a federal standard for capital punishment. There should be more solid evidence to warrant "the ultimate punishment," as Gov. Perry once described it. As a country, we cannot kill off innocent citizens. The fact that Troy Davis is no longer with us shows off how grossly flawed our judicial system is.
