The abuse of civil forfeiture and seizure laws is rampant in this country and is used as a source of income for police departments.
law abiding citizen are losing billions in property without, in many cases, any charges being filed. This must stop.
There are valid uses for the law but victimizing citizens who have done nothing wrong is not one of them.
