Reform the Commission on Presidential Debates. Make a non-partisan commission that facilites third party participation.

Created by C.E. on January 16, 2013

From the CPD website: "The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) was established in 1987 to ensure that debates, as a permanent part of every general election, provide the best possible information to viewers and listeners." In reality the commission is co-chaired by GOP and DNC veterans that have effectively prevented third party participation in national debates through unjust barriers to participation. The political market place functions much like the economic marketplace - competition breeds innovation and talent, constrained markets breed inefficiencies and corruption. Level the electoral playing field for third parties and innovative candidates by signing this petition.
