The Common Core intends to employ similar curriculums to raise education standards throughout the nation. Of course, the majority of people are not opposed to the intentions of this program however, in this case, the end does not justify the means. Through Common Core, education has become over-regulated making it much more complicated for teachers to effectively instruct their individual students. It is important to remember that every child is unique and a "one-size-fits-all" curriculum may not be effective for everyone. The solution is simple: keep the Common Core in our schools but allow teachers to have more ability to tailor their lessons to the individuals they are paid to instruct.
