Enough is enough. It is time to acknowledge the truth that banning guns and strict gun control are NOT making our country a safer place.
Ft Hood, AZ senator, VA Tech, Columbine, CT. All occurred in places where guns are prohibited, even when licensed. Also, in all of these situations, the casualties would have been drastically reduced if citizens were allowed to arm and defend themselves.
There needs to be a federally accepted standard of concealed carry licensing and gun free zones should not apply to licensees. Drugs, theft, and murder are all illegal and yet they still exist. What makes everyone think that guns would be any different? Stripping our right to self defense will only open the door for more violence as is evident by most of the worst shootings occurring in 'gun free' zones
