Reform Congress.

Created by D.C. on January 12, 2013

Push Congress to create:
-Stronger sunshine laws that enable citizens to see how well the government is working.
-Anti-corruption laws that create stronger punishments for corrupt regulators and legislators.
-Campaign finance laws, including a possible constitutional amendment, to reduce the influence of money in politics.
-Requirements for legislators to abstain from voting on legislation in which they or close family members have financial interests at state.
-Create a federal-level bureau devoted to increasing government efficiency, including an ombudsman to investigate claims against the government, a board of investigators to review bureaucratic practice at any and every level, and a team of independent scholars to recommend policy changes to Congress and the President.
