The following changes should be considered....
1. Term Limits for both Senators and House members (max of 12 years service)
2. Congress participates in Social Security
3. Congress saves for retirement on their own through salary deferrals (401k)
4. Congress can no longer vote themselves a pay raise they will get a standard cost of living increase.
5. Congress can no longer vote for changes where they are exempt (ie Obamacare) and all perks and benefits they have afforded themselves are null and void.
Serving in congress should not be a career, career politicians have corrupted Washington and until this changes we will never move America in the right direction.
