Ammend the U.s. Constitution
Congressional Reform Act of 2013
1. No Tenure / No Pension: A member of Congress collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office.
2. Congress (past & future) participates in Social
Security. Funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system. All future funds flow into same. Congress participates with the people.
3. Congress no longer vote themselves raises.
Congressional pay rises by the lower of CPI or 3% after initial 5 year pay freeze.
5. Congress loses their health care system and participates in the same system as the people
6. Congress must abide by all laws they impose on the people
7. Every new law enacted must replace another.
8. All contracts with past Congressmen and women are void.
