Once a congressman is elected, they are making decisions that represent us, whether or not we support their point of view. They are only human; they are influenced by money, other politicians, and big corporations. This could lead to them misrepresenting the people, and possible standoffs in the house.
This petition is to make the White House aware that our government needs major reform. The current government is one created for the 18th century, when communication wasn't as quick or direct as today's methods.
My proposal is something similar to this site; a web site where people (using their social security number) vote directly on issues themselves, instead of relying on a "middle-man" to hopefully relay our vote.
