Reform the Controlled Substance Act(C.S.A)

I call for complete reformation to the long stagnated Controlled Substance Act (C.S.A.) that was signed in by the Nixon Administration on October 27, 1970. This act is long overdue for a major reform due to the current knowledge, and understanding of Sciences, Medicine, and the people. Some key parts that are in major need of reform include the placement of Marijuana as a schedule 1 drug. The placement of highly addictive substances and pharmaceuticals registered as lower schedule's need to be placed in the higher schedule registry. Finally substances that are listed in the high schedule range such as Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), and 3,4-methylenedioxy-N-methylamphetamine (MDMA) should be lowered in schedule and accepted for personal use during and after psycho-therapy treatments.
