We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Reform Criminal Law on Rape requiring D.A.s to charge reported Rapists, eliminating "He Said/She Said" dismissal.

Created by M.S. on August 26, 2016

Only between 2%-8% of reported rapes are false allegations.
It's Time to change antiquated Criminal Laws that put the Burden of Proof on the Rape Survivor.
If Rape is considered an act of War and only "Second to Murder" in severity, it should be treated as such under the Law, so that rape survivors may achieve Justice under the law. Women and men deserve to feel safe in this great democracy, but our Laws and Outcomes do not currently support this.

Furthermore, the trauma sustained from having been raped creates a life-long need for mental health care support.

IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE.
