Most of middle class or wealthy americans where once poor. Before our current bankruptcy law was set in place, many people accumulated debt. After the accumulation of debt such as houses, student loans, cars, etc, wealthy americans would follow by filling bankruptcy. After their filings many americans were allowed to keep their homes, cars. While their student loans debt were wiped free. This is how most of our wealthy americans got ahead or shall i say rich.
Once lower middle class became aware of what most high and upper class citizens were doing then the laws began to change. (the rules changed).
The best way to fix the debt in our country is to wipe away every ones current debt and start a new currency.
