We, the undersigned, petition the U.S. Government to reform tax code that would be truly fair to all citizens. The current tax system incites Class Warfare by separating tax brackets based on income. We believe the United States Federal Government should impose a "Flat Percentage Tax" code, one in which all citizens pay the same percentage of income to taxes, whether it be 10%, 15%, or 20%, but not to exceed 20% of a single citizens or family income. This total percentage sum should also include withholdings for Social Security and Medicare. To ensure that a fair share of taxes are paid we ask that tax write offs and deductions be abolished.
If America were to switch to an equal income tax percentage and get rid of tax write offs and deductions the rich would inturn pay higher taxes.
