Current legistlation for the Do Not Call list relies on reporting by consumers and minor penalties for companies that break the rules. It is obvious that it is a system that the government uses to make money (forcing the telemarketers to buy the list) with little protection for consumers. Meanwhile there are a multiple telemarketing companies who are using Robot Callers (which are illegal under the Do Not Call legistlation) who are unhindered by the currently toothless legistlation and who refuse to remove anyone from their list.
Reform the current legistlation to include finding and seizing Robot Calling assets (bank accounts, servers, computers, phones, offices, home-offices, etc) to put a stop to them. Use siezed assets to fund this effort.
