Reform Drug Development & Manufacturing to help prevent Prescription Drug Overdoses

We the undersigned, respectfully submit this document for the consideration of our Lawmakers to address the rapidly escalating drug problem.
We understand there are now safe guards available that make virtually impossible to crush a pill to abuse it by injecting it using a syringe or snorting it up the nose. The pill then becomes a Gel on contact with liquid. This would greatly diminish the potential of an Overdose.
We believe that a law should be passed that would require the Drug companies to utilize this technology or something similar on any drug that has the potential for abuse.
