Currently, the educational system is ineffective. Testing standards have decreased over the years and in comparison to other world leaders, our American generations are falling behind rapidly.
This issue is extremely important if we ever want our economy to begin to thrive again. We may have a lot of business leadership in the States but we are lacking an innovative public mind.
My wish is to see an educational system that resembles the E.U.'s. It is necessary to challenge EVERY child that grows up in the United States, and right now, the "smarter" children are not learning and progressing in the public education system. All our children are being forced to one level of thinking when every child is DIFFERENT and should be treated as such.
