My petition is concerning the pay, retirement and medical benefits congress and senate. In a time where there is a concern about government spending and cuts we start our cuts with the people who need the most help. But when cuts start it starts with those who need the most help. These government employees share of the medical and retirement benefits rise and have to except freeze on pay while our congressmen, senators and justices vote their own raises, pay zero for medical. and get full retirement for serving minimal time.
My suggestion is to make Congressmen, Senators, Justices and other elected officials pay medical and retirement benefits like any other federal employees. Put their raises to a vote by the voters during elections.
