In our last election approximately 90 million voters did not vote. After taking a small poll of just a few of these people known to me, I received the following answers: "I had to work", "I didn't like either candidate", "My vote wouldn't matter anyway the Presidency is always determined by a few Battle Ground States". When the Electoral College was formed, it's purpose was to simplfy the vote counting process and winner take all for each state determined by the number of Representatives and Senators for that state.
With the technology of today it is feasible to accurately count every vote and decide the Precidency by Popular Vote. Ballots should include every Republican, Democrat, & Independent, candidates running for office and stop limiting our choices to 2 or 3 candidates.
