We need to change the method Americans use to elect their leaders, which is outdated and broken.
1. Eliminate all ballot access laws and rules that discriminate against smaller parties and independents, and otherwise place undue burden on the right of citizens to run for office.
2. Replace the First-past-the-post voting with a preferential voting system. With preferential voting, voters rank the candidates in order of preference rather than simply selecting a single candidate. The adoption of a preferential voting system will eliminate the “wasted vote syndrome” or “spoiler role”.
3. Allow all candidates (local, state, and federal) who are on the ballot to participate in the Debates.
