Reform Employer Hiring Practices; Families Must Eat, These Practices are Discriminatory Against Families and Veterans

Created by P.E. on November 15, 2012

Many people in the United States are without work, some for only a few months, now, some for several years, like me. Having put in close to 500 resumes, applied for close to 300 jobs, and with only 7 job interviews in 114 weeks, tomorrow, I have happened upon a startling trend, which may be corrected, as follows:

1) Employers may not ONLY accept applications and/or resume's online; they must also accept applications and resume's, for serious consideration, and requests for interviews on-the-spot, if possible, from walk-in candidates;

2) Online personality and job capability tests MUST be eliminated from the hiring process, as this reduces the pool of good candidates, and may allow for those who are not as qualified as desired by the employer, simply due to personality.

Thank you.
