The dependency of the internet, along with the crash of 2008, has given the American employer the edge to hire high qualified talents for lower wages. On top of which, employers are posting job openings that are not genuinely open, overextending the application process, and not considering the needs of the applicant by either completely ignoring the response or taking an unreasonably long period to respond at all. People who are looking for jobs need them NOW and do not have the luxury to wait weeks or even months for relief.
I believe a fiscally and socially responsible government body must encourage healthier and more efficient hiring practices by REQUIRING employers to respond to an applicant from 30 - 60 days from which the position was posted.
